By car
In Anguilla, you have to drive on the left lane, as in Britain. To drive on the island you have to obtain a temporal license, which expires in three months. To get this license you have to pay a small tariff and present your driver’s license in The Valley police office or at the entrance points of the island.

These are some car rental agencies:

Avis,
Blowing Point.
Phone: 497 6221.

Triple K Car Rental (Hertz),
Airport Road.

By taxi
You can find taxis in every entering point of the island, included de Wallblake airport, which is in the middle of Anguilla, 3 km away from The Valley, the most important city of the island. Those visitants that arrive by ship, will land nearer the west side, in Blowing Point, where you can also find taxis. The tariffs are predetermined for each itinerary, though it is recommendable to confirm the price with the taxi driver in advance.

There are taxis that leave from the airport and Blowing Point making a tour around the island for three hours.

Connections Between Islands
