By car Driving is on the left side, though many American and Japanese cars have the steering wheel on the left. To drive here you must be granted a temporal license, costing around $10 and can be obtained at any car rental agency, presenting your drivers license. During high season, you better make reservations. Your hotel will help you rent a car, and if you prefer, the agency will park the car at the hotel’s entrance. By Taxi There’s no problem to find taxis in the British Virgin Islands, at the airports and cruiser’s stations, and also you can stop one at the streets raising your arm. In Fat Virgin there are small trucks with benches, used to transport visitors to the most interesting places, at a reasonable price. Taxis have a fixed price list, but better ask the driver before going in.

BY AIR There are regular flights from the international airports in St. Martin and Puerto Rico. There are also small airlines flying between the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands, and between Tortola and Anegada.
